Ka-Khé

The opening for “The Singapore Show: Future Proof” went down last night and it was super good to have seen a couple of old and familiar faces. It was especially nice to have seen a performance by Rizman Putra, after so long. Openings were never my thing, but yesterday seemed more like a gathering of old friends, which is always cool.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the mural I did called for the show entitled “Ka-KhĂ©”.

You can see more pictures here.

I spent around 6-7 days doing up the stair wells, and it was one of the most intense things I’ve done in my life. I will be giving a small tour and workshop in conjunction with the art work on the 18th of February and you can get tickets here, if you are interested.

This and 33 other artworks by 25 other artists is currently up for show from now till the 15th of April 2012, so drop by when you have the chance.

A huge thank you to Khairuddin Hori, David Chew, Aimilia Safuan, all the artists involved and the Singapore Art Museum.
